John Wittrock is a Senior Software Engineer at Sidewalk, working on digital identity, security, and privacy.
John spent the past few years working on distributed systems for internet advertising, concentrating on the performance and reliability of large systems. He hopes to never again need to write a memory allocator, but secretly wants to do it anyway.
John completed his B.S. in computer science at the George Washington University, where he did research in operating systems and secure, verifiable voting systems. In his spare time, John builds and rows boats in New York Harbor.
